I just got accepted to the only high school I applied too. I’m going to go to Notre Dame, one of the nicest schools in the city. I’m very excited to go to it. I can’t wait to experience tougher sports, opposite sexes, and harder education. It’s going to be a blast. I’m probably going to be fine on my first day because I got several of friends who are going with me and we already know most of the things in NDHS.

I would like to have some comments on tips on how I could do better.

There has been numerous reports each day about people killing themself for reasons and some without reasons. Suicide, as we all know, is the most sadest thing that some people go through. People kill themself because of depression and think that life is not worth living. All the way from 1964, people have been killing themself and other people on the way at their school. The most recent one I had found was on September 23,2008. Seinajoki University of Applied Sciences, Kauhajoki, Finland. Student Matti Juhani Saari, 22, killed 10 people before shooting himself in the head. Saari, who had been armed with a semi-automatic pistol and Molotov cocktails, posted YouTube videos of himself firing weapons before embarking on the massacre.

There maybe times in the world when you think, why am I still here on Earth or times when your too depressed to do anything. You may think about killing yourself, but that is not the right answer. If you are way too depressed and thinking about killing yourself, I suggest that a counselor would be good. Life is worth living each and every moment. Never forget that.

Racism led many people to many awful things. Racism led people to gangs, jails, and even death. Racism has existed throughout the human history. Just to clarify what racism is, racism is plainly defined as hatred towards another due to their race or color. An example racism led to is the gang called “Crips”. “The Crips are a primarily, but not exclusively, African-American gang founded in Los Angeles, California in 1969 mainly by 16-year-old Raymond Washington and Stanley Williams . What was once a single gang is now a loosely connected network of individual sets, often engaged in open warfare with one another.”(Wikipedia) Every so often, the racism between different backgrounds make people turn on other people for reasons such as respect, and “the king and queens of the hills”.

Sometimes when you talk to your friends, you might be saying something racist, but you don’t think it is. Make sure when you say something, you don’t include anything that might. All I wonder is why can’t the world just be nice to everyone and no violence would be done, but I also thought that each persons opinion makes the world unique and different even though it maybe a bad thing.

Over the past years, technology has developed like crazy, especially on places were everyone sees who you are. Websites like “myspace and facebook” may seem safe, but is really not. People may think that nothing is going to happen to them because they’re just chit chatting with there friends, but eventually something bad might happen. Sexual predators are everywhere and lurking around every corner on the internet. My suggestion is not to go on public chat rooms or anywhere public where random people might know what you are doing. If you are going to be on chat rooms, don’t give out personal information like your name and where you live. If you have a Myspace, do not post pictures of you that might set off sexual predators to want to have more of you. I am saying don’t post sexual pictures. Whenever you use the internet, be safe on what you are doing.

As days pass, the econoomy of the United States become worst. Every once in a while, workers get these pink slips which mean they are getting laid off. Being laid off means that you were forced to leave your job by the government. People are not nearly comparing the U.S economy to the Great Depression. “I don’t like the comparisons with the Great Depression, because you’re comparing 7.5-8 percent unemployment to 25 percent unemployment,” Meltzer(Reporter) says. “You’re comparing a system which has lots of safety nets in it to one that didn’t have any safety nets. And when you’re unemployed in the Great Depression, you went in the bread line, the soup line. You went back to the family farm. You had no support system. So I think those comparisons are simply overdrawn.”

If the economy continues in a poorly state, the U.S will be quite in a hectic problem. Due to the decline of the economy, everyone had given up something just to help their family out. Economy has changed the lives of many. Changed the lives from rich to poor. The economy could have also changed the lives of poor to rich. The lives of rich to even richer and the lives of poor to even poorer. You will never know what life throws at you. “Life comes at you fast.”

Hunger is a big issue in our world today. People all over the world know that at least someone is hungry. According to www.worldhunger.org, “agriculture produces enough food for everyone one in the world. Everyone in the world could have at least 2,720 kilo calories per person a day. But, due to the poverty of a person, someone who earns 1 dollar a day can’t nearly provide enough food for them self. Hunger is also the cause of poverty. The lack of resources and energy you have won’t help you work or the ability to learn.

As I watch TV in the morning, I always see the program called “Feed The Children.” The program says that hundreds of babies from Africa die each day due to their health or no nourishment. The way we can help world hunger is by donating at least 8 dollars a month to a charity program to feed people in Africa such as “Feed the Children.”

On the 12th, which is on Thursday, two days before Valentines. St. Patrick’s School had a Valentine’s dance for the upper building. As everyone knows, schools have a lot of drama. There just had to be drama on the day where love is suppose to be spread.There was one girl who was practically crying the whole dance. The dance was almost over and they were playing there last song. I saw this girl sitting down, looking weary, so I decided to go up to her and have a last dance with her. When we started dancing, I was telling her all these funny jokes and random things that were in my mind. The thing that made her give the biggest smile was when I told her that she had a really nice waist. Just like that, love was brought into the air.

The random act of kindness week is almost over, but that does not mean you don’t have to stop being kind. I am telling you that you could be kind wherever and whenever. As Emelia Earhart says, “No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves.”

What is fruit by the foot? If I heard correctly, fruit by the foot is one of the most delicious snacks in my world. This snack could be one of your favorite snacks to. I do not think this snack is that healthy, but it is good to have it once in a while. In my perspective, I say that watermelon is the best flavor in the world for fruit rollups. Berry Tie-Dye comes in second place, and cherry comes in dead last due to the yuckiness of the taste.

In my personal opinion about Tibia, I say that Tibia is a time killer when you are bored. It is a fun interactive game you play with other people.
